Which Presidential candidate do you trust to live up to the oath of office?

And why?

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States (so help me God).”

Obama not traitor McCain who will go down in history as the worst campaign ever run.

  4. me_devil_head says:

    Ron Paul.

    No, really…

    Ron Paul!

  5. doinou says:

McCain, absolutely, and Sara too. Obama is not a friend of America.

  6. Mike says:

Obama. He was a practicing constitutional lawyer for 12 years.

  7. smellyfoot ™ says:

McCain. Obama has already expressed his “concerns” with the Constitution.

  8. Nitussi says:

Obama is way more trust worthy.

“8 years of Bush and Sarah Palin are the 2 main reasons not to vote for McCain.”

  9. Curious says:

McCain, because he will swear in over the Bible like every other President!

  10. larry m ♥ says:

    Obama! lol.

  11. kwazywabbott says:

    Obama

  12. Marilyn R says:

Both candidates would live up to the oath of office.

I know what you are trying to imply and it’s not going to work. If Obama wins, he will not be sworn in on a Koran and guess what, Muslims REALLY believe in God. They are so fanatical about it that they are often willing to die to prove it. But that is a moot point, since Obama is not a Muslim. He is in fact, a Christian and probably a better one than his opponent. Obama at least goes to church. Can’t say the same thing about McCain.

  13. Sales Girl says:

Mccain, he has more experience and does not want to change the constitution with all his socialism crap

  14. Moose says:

    McCain

  15. happyjar says:

    Obama.

During this campaign it has become obvious that Obama is a man of integrity and principle. While it has become equally obvious that McCain is not. Obama is a student of the Constitution, as is Joe Biden. McCain’s running mate doesn’t even appear to have taken 8th grade US History.

  16. forreal says:

McCain would be more likely to live up to the oath of office.

  17. Conspiracy Brother says:

From a medical point of view I think Obama. I think Mr Mccain maybe too old and have gone through too much in his life to be expected to do well at this job for four years. If you look at the toll being President has taken on the last two Presidents, I do not think McCain will be physically able to live up to the oath. If he goes and leaves Palin in charge that will be a double negative.

  18. vanillaqueen018 says:

    McCain, hands down!

Obama is a despicable man who only wants power so he can destroy this country! McCain is a hero! He served his country, and he is prepared to serve it again as president. People are stupid to vote Obama. McCain has been trying to reveal the truth about Obama’s racism, sexism, and terrorist ties, but nobody will listen because they think he is the Messiah!

Obama is a liar, a traitor, a hateful human being! He will never be my president!

  19. Bewildered says:

    John McCain

  20. Stephen K says:

If you watched Obama’s TV interview when he was a law professor, you know it won’t be him because he pronounced the costitution “A negative document”.

  21. karen star says:

BOTH of these men are honorable and honest. Both of these men are decent and dedicated and patriotic. Both will uphold his oath to the best of his ability, to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution.

I voted early for Obama because I believe his more academic personality and intellectual curiosity is more what we are going to need in this period of economic and international difficulty.

I like and respect McCain, but his is the wrong personal style – the shoot from the hip style that served him well as a pilot and may have helped him survive as a POW – to provide the calm persona we need in the White House.

Edit specifically for Thomas S….I don’t know who told you Obama “wants to turn the country into a socialist economy,” but they are off the mark. And in case you were not watching, last month when the Congress voted to NATIONALIZE banks, BOTH McCain and Obama voted for the plan the BUSH administration ASKED for, ENDORSED, and SIGNED into LAW.

The mess with credit is going to take some time to sort out. 90% of American wealth is controlled by 10% of its citizens. Trying to grow the economy and give all citizens a bigger shot at being successful is not “socialization.” It’s as American as it gets.

  22. Selin says:

    OBAMA!!

  23. Harry V says:

Neither, they both are liars and only care about there Political Party. They don’t give a shit about the People!

  24. Thomas S says:

Obama wants to turn the USA into a socialist economy. No freaking way. I’d rather have Bush economics than socialism.

Either way though, no canidate will be getting my vote.

  25. ZigiMe says:

I trust Chuck Baldwin, Constitution Party
    Ralph Nader, Independent Party
    Bob Barr, Libertarian Party

    ’nuff said!
they all respect the personal liberties of the Individual; the way our forefathers intended.
