TwitterMy computer cam with that WordPerfect Office 12 crap and i need to have the actual MS Word program 4 my schooling. I’ve tried going to microsoft.com but that was no help. Any ideas? FREE ideas r better!

microsoft office xp download help!!?

admin around 2 months ago i deleted wordperfect 12 because it would not open not realizing that microsoft word was attached to it and so word got deleted as well and i found the cd the dell people gave to me when i bought my computer which is the office xp cd but when i try to install it the installation does not work can you plz help me i also have microsoft word 97 but that doesnt download either so is there any way you can help me??

July 10th, 2010 admin I just bought a new laptop with Windows 7 home edition. Can I load my old Windows XP software into it? For example: Wordperfect Coral, which I bought around 1999, old version of Microsoft office, Microsoft Word, photoshop 7 , WebShot.com. Please give me your advice.
What is the next computing paradigm that would help you the most with using computers?
July 9th, 2010 admin There used to be just the application (Lotus 1-2-3, Wordperfect). Then came a long the “Document” (MS Office, Open Office). What’s next? What would you most like to see?
Not looking for standards, think more meta-level, beyond the technology. Data was centered around an application in the early 90s. Data is centered around the document in the late 90s until today. MS Office wont be around forever. Where is computing going?

July 9th, 2010 admin Our law office just moved and I need to change all of our letterhead, pleading paper, etc. When I go to change the address on our pleading paper, I just cannot access the text (our firm name, address, phone numbers) that runs sideways on the left side of the page (left of the 1-28 line numbers). I’ve tried editing macros, templates, etc., to no avail. The text remains a mystery.
Any ideas??
How do I alphabetically sort all of my windows desktop icons?
July 9th, 2010 admin I have Windows XT on my office computer and Vista on my notebook, and have the same problem with both. When I sort the icons by name I get two groups. For example, I have two versions of WordPerfect and one ends up in the 3rd column, and the other at the end of the 5th column. Help would be appreciated.
BTW, to call Vista an improvement is a very loose use of the word improvement!
I’m not referring to manually arranging my icons, but by getting them to sort correctly when I choose sort by name.
Problems installing Office 2003?
July 9th, 2010 admin My computer came with WordPerfect already installed. But, I had to buy Office 2003 so that I could turn in assignments in .doc format. But, I put the disk in to install Office 2003 and it gives me errors. Do I have to uninstall the other first or do you think it’s a problem with my Office disk or computer??
What would cause computer file folders to disappear?
July 9th, 2010 admin I work in a law office. We’re on a network. There are a total of 5 people who use WordPerfect (yeah, I know, Neanderthal, but …). We have had three file folders just up and vanish over the past month. Office manager thinks somebody is intentionally deleting them. I disagree. What else could cause this?

July 9th, 2010 admin I was installing Microsoft office, and before I installed it deleted a few programs to make space. One program was Wordperfect. I realized that I have some emails that can only be opened in wordperfect. Is there a way to restore the Wordperfect program?
